TRiPEEGO General Conditions

Welcome to TRiPEEGO! By accessing and using the TRiPEEGO mobile app or website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the use of TRiPEEGO's ride-sharing and parcel delivery services between individuals and businesses in France.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use TRiPEEGO.

1. Introduction

TRiPEEGO is a community platform that connects:

Individuals looking for a transport or delivery service;

Businesses looking for cost-effective delivery solutions;

Travelers wishing to share the available space in their vehicle.

TRiPEEGO does not provide transportation services, but serves as a platform to facilitate connections. All agreements and transactions are concluded directly between users.

2. User Eligibility and Account Creation

2.1 Who can use TRiPEEGO?

To use TRiPEEGO, you must:

Be at least 18 years old.

Provide accurate and complete information when registering.

Have a valid email address and phone number for verification.

Use TRiPEEGO in accordance with French legislation relating to carpooling and deliveries.

TRiPEEGO is PROHIBITED:

To users under 18 years of age.

Transporting illegal, dangerous or prohibited goods.

Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities.

3. How TRiPEEGO works

3.1 Search and offer rides or deliveries

Travelers indicate their journeys by specifying the date, time and available space.

Requesters search for travelers based on route and vehicle type (e.g., bicycle, car, van, truck).

Applicants pay €1 to access the chat with a traveler and negotiate the terms of the service.

Once the service is accepted, the service is executed and the requester tracks its progress.

3.2 Fees and Payments

Browsing TRiPEEGO is free.

A fee of €1 is required to unlock the chat and begin negotiations with a traveler.

TRiPEEGO does not manage or process payments for rides or deliveries; users are responsible for arranging payments directly.

The €1 chat unlocking fee is non-refundable, even if the service is not terminated.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Responsibilities of applicants (passengers or senders)

Please ensure that your ride or delivery information is correct before booking.

Negotiate prices fairly with travelers.

Respect agreements and be punctual for pick-ups or deliveries.

Provide accurate delivery information to avoid any misunderstandings.

Forbidden :

Last minute cancellations without valid reason.

Request to transport illegal, dangerous or restricted items.

4.2 Responsibilities of travelers (drivers or couriers)

Provide honest and accurate information about your travel schedule and vehicle capacity.

Use a safe vehicle that complies with French highway code.

Respect all agreements made with applicants.

Respect the highway code and the rules of the TRiPEEGO community.

Forbidden:

Overcharge or change agreed prices after confirmation.

Failure to show up after accepting a request.

Transport prohibited or dangerous goods.

5. Cancellations and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation of a request

Applicants and travelers must communicate in advance if cancellation is necessary.

Frequent last-minute cancellations may result in account suspension.

5.2 Refund Policy

The €1 chat unlocking fee is non-refundable, even if the service does not take place.

As payment for rides or deliveries is made directly between users, TRiPEEGO is not responsible for refunds or disputes.

6. Security

6.1 Ensuring the security of transactions

Users are encouraged to check ratings and reviews before confirming a ride or delivery.

Meet in public or safe places to deliver goods or start shopping.

Avoid sharing your personal details outside of the app for security reasons.

6.2 Prohibited Activities

Users should NOT use TRiPEEGO to:

Transporting illegal substances, weapons or dangerous materials;

Committing fraud, misrepresentation or deception.

Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

TRiPEEGO reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban users if they:

Violate these Terms and Conditions;

Engage in fraudulent or harmful activities;

Receive multiple reports of misconduct from other users;

If your account is suspended, you can contact customer service to request a review.

8. TRiPEEGO Disclaimer

TRiPEEGO is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for user behavior.

Users assume all risks when accepting a ride or delivery.

TRiPEEGO does not provide insurance; users must therefore ensure their own protection.

TRiPEEGO is not responsible for:

cancellations, delays or service outages caused by users;

property lost, stolen or damaged during delivery or delivery;

accidents, injuries or legal issues resulting from interactions with users.

9. Modifications to the General Conditions

TRiPEEGO may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TRiPEEGO constitutes acceptance of the latest version of these Terms.

In case of major changes, we will notify users via email or in-app notifications.
